Description for Daffodil Replete (White, Orange)

Daffodil is spring-blooming perennial plants of the Amaryllidaceae family. Daffodil flowers have a trumpet-shaped structure set against a star-shaped background. The plant stem usually bears a solitary flower, but occasionally a cluster of flowers (umbel).
Flowers may be single or double, grow singly on a stem or with multiple flowers per stem, and height varies from 6 to 20 inches. Daffodils, the flowers symbolizing friendship, are some of the most popular flowers exclusively due to their unmatched beauty.

Planting and care

 

  • These bulbs are pre-treated and ready to sow.
  • Sowing season of Daffodil bulb in the rainy, autumn, and early winter season.
  • Dig a hole around 10 cm and sow the bulb.
  • Set the bulb in the hole, pointy end up, then cover with soil and press firmly.
  • Space bulbs 4 to 6 inches apart.
  • Plant each bulb tip up.
  • Water thoroughly after planting.

Use the potting mix for bulb plantation as
  • Garden soil + Compost + Perlite + Sand (2:2:1:1).
  • Soil + Cocopeat + vermicompost (2:1:2).

Caring for Daffodil Replete

  • Plant the bulbs in a place that receives proper sunlight.
  • Mulch their roots to help them retain moisture during warm dry periods.
  • Do not overwater.
  • You should fertilize a plant mostly in the spring season, flower bud stage.
  • Using a garden knife, cut out any soft, mushy parts of the rhizome/bulb that seem to have rotted.
  • Do not store bulbs for too many days. Sow the bulbs immediately as they loose their viability.
